…due to being frightfully happily joyfully busy busy a slightly stressed speck offers a Juma’ah reminder for Salawaat upon our Master and Leigelord, Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wassalam with this delighfully whimsical drawing…and reposting the following sparkle from almost one year ago…

Before the making of stars and oceans,

Reality created a light from Its Light,

a perfect mirror of Eternal Beauty,

a pearl of never-breaking whiteness.

From it all colours arise,

As a prism that opens light’s essence

and voids it on the sea of manifestation,

beautifying all that it shines on.

And when the diamond came to the world,

the most perfect creation in human form

gathered in himself the beauty of the whole universe,

the fullest mercy of the All-Merciful.

His names comprehend but one point of his essence:

The Beloved of God, he who always forgives,

The Torch of the path, the Praised one.

He where everything gathers.

It’s impossible to understand any virtue

but through his perfect example;

in him the most beautiful qualities

were completed in their purity.

JUMA’AH MUBARAK!

…also be mindful of the Hujjaj in your pious Du’as and requesting Allah Ta’ala to grant us all more Barakah in our time, Ameen…

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.  May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

    Assalaamo Alaykum Sister.
Following is a poem I wrote in the last few days on the upcoming occassion of Hajj, not up to your eloquent standards, but here it is:

    Lucky are the Hajees

Lucky indeed are those invited Hajees
Attending the court of Allah the Almighty
As delegates and reps from all over the world
Praying to and praising the only Deity.

    All dressed in white uniform
‘Labaaik, here I am’ is their call
From Makkah to Mina they travel
Old and young, one and all

One full day in Mina to prepare
For Arafat and it’s mass gathering
All races and colours united in creed
Till sunset, standing, sitting and praying.

At sunset they leave en masse
At Muzdalifah two salats performed as one
    Collecting stones, then they sleep
Under the starry sky till dawn.

Then back to Mina to pelt the big Shaytaan
After the sacrifice of animal and one’s hair,
Out of their Ihraam, they go to Masjide Haram
In throngs to perform Tawafe Ziyarat there.

Returning to Mina for two more days
To pelt all three and engage in prayer
Thus having completed the Hajj rituals
All forgiven by Allah and no sins to bear.

On to Madeenah to the court of our Prophet
To visit His Masjid and offer salutations
    With humility, love and respect
At His grave and of His two Companions

Lucky indeed are those invited Hajees
We pray we also are invited again and again.

    AMEEN.
