Rabi'alAwwal 1434, salawaat

…pristine incandescence…

By In

…SubhanAllah…nothing in existence as we know it would have any meaning if it were not for Allah Ta’ala sharing His Pristine Incandescence, His Effulgent Light, His Luminous Radiance, by gifting the creation with the manifestation of His Light with the birth of His Habib SallAllahu alaihi wasallam…and even if the entire number of breaths from the collective breaths of all mankind, past, present and future were to offer praises and salutations, not even a life time of non stop repetitious praises would be enough to express the joy and gratitude for the gift we have been blessed with in our most Beloved Messenger SallAllahu alaihi wasallam…

Reality created a light from Its Light,

a perfect mirror of Eternal Beauty,

a pearl of never-breaking whiteness.

From it all colours arise,

As a prism that opens light’s essence

and voids it on the sea of manifestation,

beautifying all that it shines on.

And when the diamond came to the world,

the most perfect creation in human form

gathered in himself the beauty of the whole universe,

the fullest mercy of the All-Merciful.

His names comprehend but one point of his essence:

The Beloved of God, he who always forgives,

The Torch of the path, the Praised one.

He where everything gathers.

It’s impossible to understand any virtue

but through his perfect example;

in him the most beautiful qualities

were completed in their purity.

Durood Taj ~ Invocation of the Turban

O Allah! Send Blessings and Peace upon our Master and Patron Muhammad,
The Owner of the Turban and the Ascent and the Buraq and the Standard,
The Repeller of affliction and disease and drought and illness and pain,
Whose name is inscribed, elevated, accepted and engraved in the Tablet and the Pen,
The Leader of all, Arabs and non-Arabs,
Whose body is sanctified, fragrant and pure,
Illumined in the Sacred House and the Sanctuary,
The Shining Sun, the Full Moon dispelling darkness,
The Foremost in the highest ranks, the Light of Guidance,
The Cave of Refuge, the Lamp dispelling ignorance,
The One with a Beautiful Nature, the Intercessor of Nations,
The Owner of Munificence and Generosity,
Allah is his Protector, Jibraeel is his servant,
The Buraq is his Mount, the Ascent is his Voyage,
The Lote-Tree of the Furthermost Limit is his Station,
And the distance of Two Bows’ Length or less is his Desire,
His Desire is his Goal and his Goal he has attained.

The Master of the Messengers, the Seal of the Prophets,
The Intercessor of the sinners, the Friend of the strangers,
The Mercy for the Worlds,
The Repose for those who burn with Love, the Goal of those who yearn,
The Sun of knowers, the Lamp of travellers,
The Light of those drawn close,
The Lover of the poor and the destitute,
The Master of both Worlds,
The Prophet of the Two Sanctuaries,
The Leader of both Prayer Directions,
Our Means in the Two Abodes,
The Owner of Extreme Proximity,
The Beloved of the Lord of the Two Easts and the Two Wests,
The Grandfather of al-Hasan and al-Husayn,
Our Patron and the Patron of all Mankind and Jinn,
He is Abu al-Qasim MUHAMMAD Ibn Abd Allah,
A Light from the Light of Allah,

Ya ayyuhal mushtaquna bi Nuri Jamalihi
O you, who yearn for the Light of his Beauty

Balaghal ula bi Kamalihi
He attained exaltation by his Perfection

Kashaf ad-duja bi Jamalihi
He dispelled darkness by his Beauty

Hasunat jami’u Khisalihi
Beauteous are all his Qualities

Sallu’alayhi wa Alihi
Send Blessings upon him and his Family

You came down to the land men to instruct
like rain that covered all its length and breadth;
A shining sun in morning blaze that left
no night, or star, or lantern to distract.
You left it tolerant, its way marks shining bright
it dragged its trails across high heaven’s dune
Following the revolutions of day and night
with Truth’s troops in flowing streams.
Its envoy the Quran which all men guides
unto the strongest way, where good speech bides.

Chapter 9 Key to the Garden, by Habib Ahmad Mashhur al-Haddad Rahmatullahi alaihi

…the Prophetic glowing emanation suffuses every living particle…and when one stills all but the throbbing of the heart for his SallAllahu alaihi wasallam’s LOVE, the pristine incandescence Allah Ta’ala sent as a Mercy to the Worlds outshines the blazing sun, the lustre of the full moon and the brilliance of all heavenly bodies, dispelling all darkness and dimming all Batil…SubhanAllah!!!

Peace, that is Pleasant, Fragrant, Magnificent
Upon the Chosen One, our Master Muhammad

SallAllahu alaihi wasallam

…and for all the glorious words written throughout the times, expressing the magnificence and noble qualities of our Beloved Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam, none could ever, or will ever express his perfection, his compassion, his love for his Ummah…so take solace in allowing the heart to over flow with the purity of love for him, to rejoice and melt with his pristine incandescence…so fling wide open the doors of your heart as you have never done before…

…may we implore Allah Ta’ala to infuse hearts with this pristine incandescence, multiplying its shine as we tread the illustrious path illuminated by the Sunnah…may Allah Ta’ala bless us with remembrance of Him and His Habib SallAllahu alaihi wasallam especially during this Mubarak time.. may we be among those mentioned in His Presence…may He purify our intentions and raise our ranks so to be near His loved and cherished ones in His Eternal Garden of Bliss, Ameen…

…there are six previous years dedicated to Rabial Awwal accessible in the archives…hard to believe that this time last year this humble speck was blessed to be at the Noble Birth Place…

…and hard to believe the length of this difficult ‘imprisonment’…but truly with hardship comes ease and truly being forced to feel a prisoner helps one to fully comprehend the Hadith saying this Dunya is a prison for the Mu’min…may Allah Ta’ala’s mercy open wide the Gates of His Jannah for all who accept and welcome His Qadr with Sabr and Shukr, Ameen…

…and as much as this humble speck so wants to be out and about and returning to this space with updates from the Haramain the reality is that more time is needed with rehabilitation.. your continued Du’a is much appreciated…as have been all the loving and caring comments you have shared…not having had access to a regular connection or laptop has contributed to the loud sound of silence from this space…Insha’Allah slowly and steadily the hope is for more regular postings…patience…patience…patience…Insha’Allah…

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.  May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

Dear ‘Sister’…Allah Ta’ala in His Wisdom has not yet written complete Shifaa’ meaning my activities are very much in low gear for however long He deems necessary. Apologies, but over these months of being out of action I have faced the reality of my limitations and need to keep a tight focus on regaining mobility and not overburden my commitments as I used to do. I will try to reply to comments but for the moment am not adding to any more private correspondence. Sorry.

It was just general questions I had actually wanted to ask sister qudsiyyah about the conditions near haram shareef.

How I miss the serenity of being so near, but still being content knowing I hear Adhan and trusting my ‘imprisonment’ will end soon. I prefer that you spend your precious time here devoting it to as much Ibadah as possible. Maybe you make Du’a to be returned over and over again and we can chat and meet then. This is a good question, and one I should try to post about in the future. I am aware of many who take advantage of this service in the Haramain, but I do not have any contact numbers. However I have began to make inquiries and Insha’Allah receive replies in time for your visit. Dear Khala from the Madrassah used to do this for years but it has become too much for her now. The other factor is what type of cuisine do you prefer? Most I understand doing this service concentrate on Sub Continent dishes…
