Madinah 2015 April6

…a mesmerizing sunset…

Madinah 2015 April7

Madinah 2015 April4

…every age…every nationality…every day…every night…feet glide…colours cavort…

Madinah 2015 April3

…carpets rolled out…carpets rolled up…

…but please dear ones who control the entrances and exits to the two fenced sisters areas, make the openings wider…take away the gate-type barriers…please maximize the allocated width…

…especially during the peak times…especially when crowds are dense…which is every Salat time these days…

…give sisters the ability to enter and exit with dignity…without the crush and pushing and shoving …Insha’Allah unlock the two gated openings that have been permanently locked for months…

red tape Madinah1

…refrain from creating barriers with this tape…

red tape Madinah2

…so the temptation to surreptitiously attack with scissors is no longer tainting this soul…a recurring mesmeric thought…*smile*…

Madinah 2015 April8

…the mesmeric glow of silver scaffolding against the towering cranes dominates the eastern skyline…

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.  May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

    Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi

Very mesmerising, masha’Allah – especially that beautiful sunset!
And lol, even by looking at the pictures of those tape barriers I’m hoping a niqabi will quietly sneak out of the shadows and with a swipe of the scissors cut them all away – there should be no barriers of any kind in this Holy Mosque 🙂

I feel the invitation of Allah SWT is almost upon me 🙂 🙂 🙂 InshaAllah I am planing to go on Umrah at the end of this year or the beginning of the next 🙂 🙂 🙂 Tears are coming to my eyes at the mere prospect, subhanAllah! I can’t wait – my heart is thundering away! I am now quite sure the moment I see the Ka’aba I will crumple into a humble heap of nerves on the marble floors. Please make dua these plans soon become reality – I feel so wonderfully happy and anxious as I book the tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
ALHUMDULILLAH this is wonderful news! May your every breath and step from now and throughout your entire blessed journey be saturated with Noor and Barakah, Ameen.
LOL to agreeing to my devious ideas of cutting the tape…you could very well be the one to execute this action when you are here LOL!
      Wassalamu alaikum

as much as the sunset is mesmeric ,the barriers seem an eyesore apart from being an obvious inconvenience….many part s of the mosque are already not sister friendly why add to that?? duas needed i feel.equally worried about the fate of saqeefa. i hardly know about architect or building design but if i am not mistaken accommodating natural features into the design of building is the latest trend every where, why not make this oasis part of the building design in the on going extension!!!!
    much love and duas

Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
      Dearest Sister Saimah and family,
I can never see the logic for taping up the narrow entrance ways. Sister certainly do have far more obstacles imposed on them compared to brothers in and around the Haramain. Insha’Allah it means more thawab for bearing these inconveniences.
I too feel Saqeefa should remain as an inner green courtyard. So ‘doable’ when one sees what architects achieve in these days of roof top gardens, vertical gardens, inner eco environments. Insha’Allah we keep making Du’a.
Love and Du’a to and for you all,
      Wassalamu alaikum

Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
A beautiful word that sits so gently in the heart, SubhanAllah. Insha’Allah it is partnered with fear as the Hadith teaches us.
      Wassalamu alaikum
