…so…this seems to be yet another version of the plan for the King Abdullah extension of Masjid Nabawi…for a larger image go to Skyscraper City…you can also follow various previous plans and renderings by going back through the threads on this site…Insha’Allah a 3D rendering is available as my concern is what appears to be a huge fortress-like wall in front of the Abode of Peace…

…as seen in this rudimentary marked aqua line…with the Green Dome shown as a green dot…

…the other queries are: what are the two prong-like forks extending into what will be the northern courtyard…marked here with fuchsia lines…are these more walls to separate sisters from brothers…and what areas have been designated for sisters…and what considerations have been made if these are walls or barriers for the movement of the less abled…whether it be the elderly…wheelchairs? …as it is the ubiquitous red tape ‘barriers’ often create such lengthy detours as one attempts to move from one side of the courtyard to another…and how will those three internal open areas ensure the saff will extend across them in the heat of summer so that the back constructed area is connected? …and what is the fate of Saqeefa? …according to this plan it is swallowed up?…

…according to the plan the breadth of the arched area will be hidden behind a barrier…but there is no indication as to the height of it…

…so…do the ‘architects’ of this idea feel this is going to prevent seekers from the sought?…will lovers congregating in front of this wall be treated the same as they are now…constantly approached with commands to move away…regardless of what barriers may be put in place, seekers will come to be present as close as they can…

…and…no matter what physical means may be adapted to shield the true lovers from our Beloved Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam no external barrier can ever block LOVE…we can always have his light shining in the heart and soul…he is the sun and the moon within our life…an elixir running through our veins…the link between us as a thick steel chain of love…a chain of such brilliance piercing our inner being which bursts from the chest as a tranquil liquid affecting all one does and all one is on contact with…this light can be so powerful it shatters man made barriers…crashes down walls of ignorance and separation…how many crazed mad men attempted to break through to our Blessed Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam? …Allah Ta’ala had the earth swallow them up…had their nefarious schemes thwarted…then massive lead walls were sunk down into the earth surrounding the Mubarak Hujrah…thick brick walls with yet more brass and steel barriers erected…has this halted our love and devotion or prevented us from following his Sunnah?…no…his light blazes from within and shatters all barriers…and will continue until the End of Times…followed by Eternity in the Garden of Bliss…

…no matter what may be constructed with bricks and mortar…all this is temporal…like all we see around us…but the Light Allah Ta’ala has made manifest in Al-Mustafa SallAllahu alaihi wasallam shines forever…and we can can have this beaming from within as we strive to perfect our love for him and encompass all that he has been sent to us for…we need to be more concerned about the barriers we have erected within, rather than any external obstructions to accessing the light of Light…

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

    AsSalaamu Alaikum WaRahmatullah, you r so right about their efforts to remove us from in front of that wall is so in vain it can not remove the love of the Beloved SalAllahu Alaihi Wassalim. I remember this spring when we were asked couple times then actually removed by a shurta in his truck to go back to womens area, even though, its a common area between men and women. Its hard to imagine what will be the experience of our future generations when they’ll be visiting the Abode of the Beloved. May Allah fill our hearts and hearts of our progeny with intense love of Him and His Beloved. Ameen Thumma Ameen.
