Juma’ah Mubarak, so send more prayers

The Hour will begin on a Friday.

The Day when the Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining will cause all life and living beings to perish. Beginning on a Friday!

Whatever is on it [the earth] will perish. And the face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will remain forever. (55: 26-27)

As narrated in Muslim, Abu Hurairah RadhiAllahu anhu said that the Messenger of Allah SallAlahu alaihi wassalam said: "The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day Adam was created, he entered Paradise on Friday, this day he was expelled from Paradise, and the Hour will only come on a Friday."

And another Hadith says: "The best of your days is Friday. Adam was created on Friday, and this day he died, the Trumpet will be blown and all of creation will swoon on Friday. So send more prayers upon me on Fridays, for your prayers will be presented to me."

Also: "The days were shown to me, and among them Friday was shown to me. It looked like a white mirror in the middle of which is a black spot. I asked, ‘What is this?’ it was said, ‘The Hour.’"

Also: "The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day Adam was created, on this day he came down from Paradise, it was Friday when his repentance was accepted and this day he died. The Hour will occur on Friday. There is no creature which is not waiting every Friday, from the moment the sun rises, fearing the Hour, apart from Jinn and men."

"Since the time when the one who blows the Trumpet was appointed, his eyes are ever ready, looking towards the Throne, fearing lest the command be issued before he blinks, as if his eyes are two brilliant stars." It is well known that the one who blows the trumpet is Israfil Alaihis Sallam.

Another narration: "How could I relax when the bearer of the Trumpet has put the Trumpet to his lips and tilted his forehead, and is listening out, waiting for the command to blow the Trumpet?" The Muslims asked, "What should we say, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Say, Hasbunallah wa ni’am al-wakeel, tawakkalna ‘alallahi Rabbinaa. (Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs; we put our trust in Allah, our Lord.)

O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily the earthquake of the Hour [of Judgement] is a terrible thing. (22:1)

Lost indeed are those who deny the meeting with their Lord until, when the Hour suddenly arrives, they say, ‘Alas for us that we disregarded this!’ They will bear their burdens on their backs, how terrible those burdens will be! The life of this world is nothing but a game and a distraction; the Home in the Hereafter is best for those who are aware of Allah, why will you [people] not understand? (6:31-32)

"So send more prayers upon me on Fridays, for your prayers will be presented to me.

So send more prayers upon me on Fridays, for your prayers will be presented to me.

So send more prayers upon me on Fridays, for your prayers will be presented to me."

So send more prayers upon me on Fridays, for your prayers will be presented to me."

And a reminder to be steadfast with the following great Bounty, Insha’Allah:

Whoever recites the following Du’a 80 times after Asr Salat on the day of Juma’ah, Allah will forgive his sins of 80 years and reward him 80 years of good deeds. This was related by Abu Hurairah RadhiAllahu anhu after hearing it from the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.

"O Allah, bestow your blessings upon the unlettered Prophet and upon his family; and bestow your Mercy upon him and his family."

Such deep gratitude for Fridays! May we all make the most of this blessed day of days, taking heed of all that our Noble Nabi SallAllahu alaihi wassalam has told us. Ameen.

Jazakumullah khairan for the unknown photographer. Apologies, it was remiss of me not to record the details when I found this stunning photo
conveying the connection between the Abode of Peace, our Beloved Master SallAllahu alaihi wassalam residing there, and Jannatul Baqi, SubhanAllahu!

Insha’Allah take a few moments in your Juma’ah Du’a for this Radiant City and its inhabitants. "About 14.2 percent of families in Greater Madinah, which includes villages surrounding the holy city, live below the poverty line, according to a report in Al-Watan daily."

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. Ameen.
