…abomination…and…

…words could never describe the wanton destruction done to our beloved Ghar Uhud…synonyms may express horror, sacrilege, scandal, violation, disgrace, desecration…an all too familiar word associated with our heritage and places with direct associations with out Blessed Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam…never again will the interior of the cave see the light of day…

…as the entrance has been SEALED with a huge wall of concrete!!!!! not visible in this photo taken yesterday by my VVVBFF the DH…yes, the previous hideous signs have gone…as the ‘authorities’ are confident the new wire fence that snakes its way from the ‘bandage place’ will meet the section at the foot of Jabal Uhud near the building currently being constructed…weird…as not many years ago there were rumours that all housing would be demolished around this ‘mountain that loves us and we love it’...

…where is the respect due to Babul Jannah????

…but not to despair…as the ‘beautification’ around the Shuhadaa site is ongoing with newly installed light fittings…

…and work on the new Masjid in progress…

~*~

…and totally unrelated…

…this is the view almiskeenah has had for the past few weeks…hence explaining the prolonged absence from updating this space and the neglect in replying to comments or answering emails…Insha’Allah your Du’a is very much needed as this needy one, once again faces surger…meaning further delays before I will have the energy or access to posting…Alhumdulillah the ‘list’ is with me and being frequently read…apologies…with love…

JUMA’AH MUBARAK!

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.  May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

this is ghastly and horrible news to know what the authorities have done to the blessed cave. really sad to hear it. very few places remained that the blessed feet of our prophet sallahu alaihi wa sallam touched and 1 more destroyed.
insha allah we pray you get well totally and dont need to visit hospital ever again.
ya allah for the sake of your beloved habeeb sallahu alaihi wa sallam please give shifaa to almiskeenah and all of us from our ailments…

    Assalaamu Alaikum.
    They are mad. Just mad.
I think everyone feels the same pain about Jabal Uhud… Especially those of us who haven’t been there yet and have dreams of one day going….! Makes me wonder will we ever be able to go inside it ??? I wish I could go and complain to Rasulullah…If he was here!

Alhamdulillah we are left with the weapon of the believers.. They not be in power for much longer..:/)))

Jazakallhu Khairan Katheeran for taking the time to blog!
    Wassalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.

Insha’Allah we are all praying for you and may Allah SWT make everything you are going through easy for you. Ameen.

I am truly grateful that although we have never met, you have done so much for me and hope that one day I will be able to return this great favour- how could I ever repay you for one salam that you have conveyed, on my behalf, in the Presence of RasulAllah pbuh? May Allah bless you eternally. Ameen. =)

    Assalaamu Alaikum Dear.

May Allah, for the sake of his Beloved SallAllahu alaihi wasallam, give you shifaa very soon so that you are up and running again and filling our hearts with the love of the Habeeb SallAllahu alaihi wasallam and the City of Light.

Coming to this vandalism by the Wobbler fanatics, well a snake will always bite as its in its nature. The venom that runs in them is shown through such actions and inshallah we will not see much of them as the Arab Spring is creeping upon the Holy Lands.

Tragic news….I had always intended to climb and retrace the beloved’s footsteps as they climbed….such steps are futile as our love for RasulAllah sallalahu alayhi wasallam will never waver and strengthens each day!

So sorry to hear you’re back in hospital. May Allah swt grant you shifa and a full recovery, Ameen.

    Dear readers and well wishers,
The following message is from our beloved Sister Miskeenah…she really needs your dua and she wants you all to excuse her for her absence:
“Miss this space and all my dear and sincere visitors but i am still ‘incarcerated’ in hospital. The list being read and dua being said. I beg for your duas. It may be several weeks before i am able to return here. Alhumdulillah ‘ala kulli hal. And what sweet bliss flows when one ponders on submitting and knowing that Allah Ta’ala sends hardships to those He loves :) and with hardship comes ease.”
