This drunkenness began in some other tavern. When I get back around to that place, I’ll be completely sober.

This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet.

I just came across this blog today, alhamdulillah.
May Allah reward you for keeping the spirit of the holy lands alive….
I am in Makkah leaving in a few days and was hoping to find if anyone knew or has a map of jannat al mualla or could point out to me where Habib Abdul Qadir al Saqqaf and Habib Ahmed al Mashur al Haddad are buried?
Or any brothers in Makkah who can take us for ziyarah?
Any info will be much appreciated.
JazakAllah Khayr
Wish I found this website while I was in Medinah…
Salams Brother Mohammad,
Here is the link to a map in arabic which shows Ziyarat of Habib al-Haddad and family:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/d2v25umg4v5on42/Map.jpg
And also a special Fatiha written by Sayyid Habib alHaddad (r) themselves, given to us by their son Syed Ali Mashhur alHaddad:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vui0taglalpcvxv/fatiha%20all.jpg
Kindly requesting you to recite the fatiha on our behalf at their ziyarat and convey our salams as well, thank you.
Sayyid Alawi al-Maliki is also buried there. When facing the gate of Sayyidatina Khadija (r) they are buried on the right hand-side (the elevated graves)
JazakAllah Khair,
Mohammed Jamil
Jazakallah khayr brother Mohammed Jamil.
This is excellent and much appreciated.
I imagine that Habib Abdul Qadir is buried in the same area then?
Jazakallah Khayr too Sister in Islam.
Will insha Allah convey all yours Salams and duas.
Request for duas too, Medinah might be on the map again before we leave….just to convey Salams.
May Allah forgive us all and accept us with our faults.
Wassalam
JazakAllah Brother Mohammed, much appreciated.
Wishing you a safe journey back and to remember us in your duas.
Yes, Habib Abdul Qadir Saqqaf is buried in proximity to Sayyidatina Khadija (r) and Habib al Haddad. I read this on the net.
Insha’Allah Allah knows our intentions.
Thank you once again.
Wa Alaykum Salam,
Brother Mohammad, I think I know of someone who could provide the details for you of their (r) ziyarats, insha’Allah will post tomorrow if I am successful.
Please remember us in your duas.
Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
Alhumdulillah for the assistance you have given Dear Brother Mohammad Jamil and Sister in Islam and may your Ziyarah have filled your heart with tranquility and strengthened your Iman Dear Brother Mohammad, and your desire to return to this City of Light and Radiance be fulfilled, Ameen.
JazakumuLlahu khaira for all other visits and comments.
Wassalamu alaikum
JazakAllah Khayr to you all. Visit to Ma’la’ was satisfying but sad. Disappointed to see how they have deserted the graves of our illustrious Masters. The Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke about the Ka’bah being destroyed before qiyamah…then the thought occurred to me…it won’t just happen suddenly, but will begin like this, by destroying the relics and historical remnants, then the graves, then the masjids of the companions and then it will lead to the ka’bah being destroyed, at a time when the sacredness if these places will be completely removed from the hearts of the people…sigh…
..Alhamdulillah have left the Holy Lands. Unfortunately the return to Madinah did not materialize. A consolation is the the impending arrival in the city known as ‘bint al madinah’
Much thanks and appreciation to you all again.
Pleased to make aquantainces with my new brothers and sisters.
May Allah bless you all and keep you all ever under His Watchful Gaze.
Wassalam.
Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
Dear Brother Mohammad,
Ameen thumma Ameen to your Du’a. SubhanAllah His Subhananhu wa Ta’ala Watchful Gaze is ever present, but what of our gaze? May we all sharpen our focus and divert our obedience to only HIM, Ameen. Due to our weakness so many things are becoming more and more neglected. May we make more effort to change the condition of our heart.
Alhumdulillah you have been returned to ‘Bint Al-Madinah’. Please make Du’a that this speck’s intention to visit there in the next few months is granted.
Wassalamu alaikum
