…half way far away…

…AlhumduliLlah ‘ala kulli hal…

…AlhumduliLlah for these days saturated with blessings…and for almost reaching half way of this month bearing untold gifts…

…ShukriLlah…for all the encouraging sentiments from so many of you…SubhanAllah for being of the Ummah of the best of creation SallAllahu alaihi wasallam where the example of his love lives on through interactions…tears of gratitude still drop re-reading the comments…

…apologies for the long silence from this space and behind the scenes communication…you all deserve better from this almiskeenah…

…I am currently ‘Down Under’ for an unknown time as I follow medical procedures here…a time filled with the yearning to be in the radiance of Madinatun Nabi…a yearning I used read in your words…and now felt so deeply in my heart …the pain of absence seems far greater than any physical pain…

…Insha’Allah, the intention is to post a little more regularly, though to be honest, the head is in a strange space in a strange place…because of the distance from the one we love more than anything else…the environment reflects a bleak winter, crisp invigorating air, nippy fogs, replenishing rains…40 degrees less than our beloved Madinah Al-Munawwarah…short cold fasting days…

…the missing defies description…but Allah Ta’ala plans and we submit…and not one of us is in a place or state that He Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has not decreed without His Wisdom…

…AlhumduliLlah ‘ala kulli hal…

…Insha’Allah your Ramadhan guest is sweeping your heart of detritus that will not weigh heavily on the scales…and with the chained Shayateen providing multitude opportunities for good, accruing maximum blessings…

…may time be devoted, and the soul uplifted with extra focus on the Qur’an Majeed…seeking forgiveness and the Night of Qadr…

 ~*~

…what an honour for this Pakistani calligrapher as he adorns the domes of Masjid Nabawi…

He also says he finds peace while doing calligraphy in the Prophet’s Mosque and cannot find this anywhere else.

…may we too find peace wherever we may be…may this Ramadhan be the time when the doors of proximity to our Rabb and His Habib SallAllahu alaihi wasallam are flung open, Ameen…

RAMADHAN KAREEM!

and

JUMA’AH MUBARAK!

All good is from Allah Ta’ala whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Ta’ala Bless all readers, bringing you all closer to Him and His Rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.  May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Ameen.

    Assalaamu aleikum sis
So glad to finally see a new post, I kept checking back for news… Hope all is going well on the medical front. May Allah grant you shifa and bring you back to where you want to be soon. The winter pics from Oz are great, we’re languishing in summer heat in Canada so the “cool” pics are quite refreshing! We have 16 or 17 hour fasts here, but the kids have been more-or-less nocturnal since we got back from Saudi, so we’re all topsy-turvy here but enjoying Ramadan alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah so nice to see your blog today al-jumuah (been checking most days) I tried to look for words at what transcended through your post and this is what I found ……. “Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.” (Kahlil Gibran) this is how i felt when reading your words as tears stream and the heart strings are pulled in empathy at the pain of your separation from the beloved’s City sallallahu alai. I pray you are re-united soon where the illuminated city and you will rejoice with LOVE. xxx May Allah grant you the best of health and full recovery and May He Subhana wa ta’ala continue to increase you with all good, wisdom and light that touches the lives of all those around you. AMEEN. xxx
